Cold Processes for Metals

Custom Parts made of extending metals in primary form.

Most of the metals either in sheet form or raw dough form or in rod / wire form are further processed by applying pressure by many methods to better the shape to the required application. Few such known applications are:

Spinning

Press Forming

Wire Drawing / ERW Pipe Drawing

Spring Making

These are processes where no heat is applied or minimal heat due to pressure is generated and the material stretched to the required shape.

Post processes may include annealing, hardening and stress relieving.
